Hello everyone. I wasn't very good at updating my blog this summer. I have been busy scrapping and spending time with my family, grandkids, going on a couple of trips, etc, etc.
I attended Rita's "Great Gathering" 2 weekends ago in Cannon Falls at Three Crosses Retreat. It was the best time I've had with 18 other women just scrapbooking for the entire weekend! Rita has expanded her Great Gathering to encompass 2 weekends next year in 2009 - she had a great turnout, food and housing was great and the scenery was beautiful!!
I was able to finish my daughter's wedding book, except for a few photos from the groom's side. I will be adding a few of the pages from this wedding book here later today.
As far as my retirement move to Texas, that has now been put on hold. The house is coming off the market for the winter as my neighbor has put his on the market - larger house for $5K LESS than my asking price!! It's hard because it's an older couple who have already moved out, house has been paid off for years so they really just want it to sell fast. I am unable to compete with that so will wait until Spring 2009. Wish me luck!!
