Ok, well now we have the normal Minnesota weather! It's hot and humid!
I was told of another great free download site for my digital scrapbooking. Rita found www.dafont.com. This site has so many really cool fonts that you can download and just install into Windows - any version. There are some really great Halloween ones, script fonts and just about anything else you would ever need. What a great site - thanks Rita!!
I have now found I'll have to have surgery on my right thumb the end of August but, hopefully, that won't stop me from scrapbooking. I have tried to type without my right thumb and it really takes a lot of concentration but I'll manage. Glad the digital scrapbooking mostly uses a mouse!!
My Vikings are gearing up for another GREAT year and I have my season tickets in hand. I'm really looking forward to the home games, first being Aug 8th!!
My next vacation is going to be in Door County, WI over Labor Day Weekend and I can't wait. I love the little shops all up and down that peninsula. Next vacation after that is a cruise to the Mexican Riviera next Feb 8th - can't wait for THAT one either!!
I'm really hoping I get some activity on my house next month. It's been on the market for 3 months and school is starting soon so hopefully someone will come along.
Take care everyone - happy scrapbooking!!

Alzheimer's Cure Crop-A-Thon RESULTS!
The "First Annual" Alzheimer's Scrapbook/Stamp-A-thon was held yesterday in Stewartville, MN for 12 hours!
We had a silent auction which netted around $510!! With all the registration fees and individual donations, including the silent auction, we totaled over $1,500 - ALL GOING FOR ALZHEIMER'S RESEARCH!!
Thanks to everyone who contributed and participated and a special THANK YOU to Rita Radil and Julie Nelson for putting on the benefit. It was great fun! I can't wait for the "2nd Annual" benefit around April 2009! Keep it going!

Rylie Jean's Scrapbook
Welcome to Sherry's Notable Style Blog
My name is Sherry and I live in Rochester, MN. I work in software support and have passed the 30-year mark at my employer. At this time, I have my home up for sale and am looking forward to moving to a warmer place, Texas. At least I'll be out of the snow and cold weather. I will miss my family and friends terribly but will have a place for them to visit from the Minnesota Winters!
I enjoy camping, fishing, boating, traveling, going on cruises and my latest hobby - Digital Scrapbooking.
I will be posting scrapbook pages on this blog and my website www.sherrysnotablestyle.com as I finish them. I have already completed my third grand-child's scrapbook and have posted some of the pages here. I am now working on my daughter's wedding album from March of this year. Some of those pages are posted as well.
I use a program called Storybook Creator Plus from Creative Memories. The program is very easy to use - it just takes awhile to decide which background to use and what elements you want to put on the page with your photos. I have found many free download sites where I can get background papers, elements, alphabets and sayings to use with my scrapbooks. I will be posting those links on this blog and more on my website.
Take a look around ... comments are welcome!
Take care everyone.
